Jesus truth answers Islam doctrine of false teaching from the Koran. Jesus is love, is God and the only path to heaven. Learn the truth of Jesus while there is still time.
Most Muslims are not like ISIS and are not terrorists. But all have been given a false story about the real Jesus.
Gospel of John in English and Arabic
The arguments used against Jesus and the Holy Spirit in Dabiq are false and incorrect. They are based on deceit and in this article we show the truth of the Gospels about Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We show the truth in this blog post. Watch the video on the truth of Jesus and His love.
Inviting Muslims to Know the Love of Christ
Pray that Muslims can see the truth of the Gospel.
“The concept of the Trinity, specifically ‘God’ the Father, ‘God’ the Son, and ‘God’ the Holy Spirit, is the pillar of pagan Christian theology. “
“Believe in Allah, the True King, the Creator, and the One God, who has neither Son nor partner.”
“All praise belongs to Allah.” “So believe in Allah and His Messengers, and do not say He is three. Cease! Such is better for you. Allah is above having a Son or partner.”
“Do not make rivals with Allah.”
“Allah has made our mission to wage war against disbelief until it ceases to exist, as he has ordered us to kill all pagans wherever they are found.”
Allah said, “Then kill the pagans wherever you find them.”
“O People of the Scripture, let us reach an agreement, that you will only worship Allah, making no partners for Him, and that none of you will adopt Lords besides Him.”
1. Textual Authenticity of the Bible Is Nearly Perfect
The Dabiq article attacked the textual authenticity of the Bible.
Dabiq: “In that vein, most of the Bible in general is written by unknown authors. Likewise, history and the very text of the Bible itself casts much doubt on the overall authenticity of this scripture. Jews had a history of state establishment and a foothold in the land. Though eventually defeated, they had ample time to circulate the Torah, which would have been preserved if it were not for the deceptive scribes who were charged with its keeping. Jeremiah 8:8 reads, “How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the law (Torah) of the Lord is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.’”
Dabiq is wrong in that most of the authors of the Bible, both in the Old Testament and New Testament are well known. In the New Testament only the book of Hebrews has an unknown author. Even if an author is unknown, it does not change the inspired message from God that the writing contains.
We know the Dead Sea Scroll Isaiah copy dates from 107 to 335 year before Christ. The scrolls have been carbon dated at least four times and every time they were proved to be copied between 107 to 335 years before Christ. Keep in mind the original Isaiah text was written about 730 years before Christ. Thus we can look at actual text today that existed when revealed to Jesus. This means even the most conservative Muslim scholars would have to agree this text was uncorrupted.
Jeremiah 8:8 describes some scribes that were not following the Law of Moses. But these were a sinful and isolate group—the very reason the Bible mentions this. The cause of this sinfulness that Jeremiah was pointing out the Israelites were soon sent into the Babylonian exile. There are presently 5,686 Greek manuscripts in existence today for the New Testament, as studied by Norman Geisler & Peter Bocchino, (Unshakeable Foundations, Bethany House Publishers, 2001). There are certainly more copies than any other ancient writing.
The internal consistency of the New Testament documents is 99.5% textually pure. That is an amazing accuracy result. In addition, there are over 19,000 copies in the Syriac, Latin, Coptic, and Aramaic languages. The total supporting New Testament manuscript base is over 25,000 copies. No organized program to alter text could have located all these copies in many countries and many languages. The Bible is true.
2. God Is Powerful Enough to Appear in Three Forms at Once
Satan as the false Angel Gabriel convinced Mohammad to oppose the Holy Spirit. The Koran speaks against the Holy Spirit. Likewise the Dabiq article attacks the Holy Spirit and the Trinity.
Dabiq: “The concept of the Trinity, that ‘God’ consists of three persons, who are all ‘gods’ themselves, specifically ‘God’ the Father, ‘God’ the Son, and ‘God’ the Holy Spirit, is the pillar of pagan Christian theology. But it was not always so.”
Dabiq is wrong because the Trinity was so from the very beginning. The testimony of Jesus proved the Trinity consisted of God in three forms; meaning God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and the promised Holy Spirit (the advocate or Paraclete) that came from God after Jesus ascended into heaven. Everyone agrees God is all powerful. Therefore it is a simple task for God to appear in three forms at the same time, much as water can be in three forms as liquid water, ice or steam. All are still water. Each part of the Trinity is still God.
The main reason Islam opposes the Trinity is that the Trinity proves Jesus is God and the Holy Spirit is real. Satan seeks to collect as many souls as possible since he knows his time is short. The only door to God is through the sacrifice of Christ. God provided the Holy Spirit to keep Satan from deceiving the believers. Islam is opposed to the two forces (Jesus as God and the Holy Spirit as God) that are greater than Satan and are the only paths lead to salvation with God.
3. Jesus Promised the Advocate–This Is the Holy Spirit, Not Mohammad
Jesus promised the Holy Spirit would be given to all believers after Jesus ascended to heaven following his resurrection. (John 14:15-17 “If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.”)
Clearly Jesus was talking about a Spirit that would physically live inside the believers. The Holy Spirit is stronger than Satan (1 John 4:4 “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”) Thus it is not surprising that Mohammad and Islam would oppose the Holy Spirit and attempt to deceive and change what Jesus was speaking about. Jesus was referring to a Spirit, and not the human person Mohammad.
Dabiq: “Telling his disciples of one who will come after him, Jesus is recorded as saying, “But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: about sin, because people do not believe in me; about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned (John 16:7-11).” Dabiq: “Indeed, the Prophet Muhammad clarified to the world the ultimate truth of the life in this world, that it is only for living by the rule of Allah, convicting to death and damnation any who opposed him.”
Dabiq is wrong about the Advocate (Holy Spirit). Jesus was clearly talking about a Spirit that would live in people and not a future prophet. Jesus was not talking about Mohammad when he described the advocate. No one has considered this to be a person, because it was very clear this was a Spirit. This Holy Spirit is from God and is part of God.
Jesus warned there would be false doctrine against the Holy Spirit.
31 “Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
32 Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in this age, nor in that which is to come.”
4. Jesus Was Really Crucified
Islam claims Jesus was not crucified and someone else died in his place. Since the cross of Jesus was carried partly by a man named Simon from Cyrene, some claim it was Simon who was crucified.
There is no basis for this conclusion and no historical account to make it believable. (Mark 15: 21-24 “A certain man from Cyrene, Simon, the father of Alexander and Rufus, was passing by on his way in from the country, and they forced him to carry the cross. They brought Jesus to the place called Golgotha (which means “the place of the skull”). Then they offered him wine mixed with myrrh, but he did not take it. 24 And they crucified him.”) Dabiq is wrong, Jesus was crucified as Isaiah predicted.
Dabiq: “So even per the biblical account of the crucifixion according to the Synoptic Gospels, it can be deduced that Jesus was not crucified. Rather, the truth is that it was only made to appear as such. And while it is unknown exactly who was on the cross, as there is no authentic scripture giving his name or background, it certainly was not Jesus.”
The vast majority of Christian and non Christian scholars agree that the Jewish historian Josephus recorded Jesus was killed: “Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man. For he was a doer of startling deeds, a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. And he gained a following both among many Jews and many of Greek origin. And when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, condemned him to the cross, those that loved him at the first did not forsake him. And the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day.”
Flavius Josephus: Antiquities of the Jews, Book 18, Chapter 3.
John 19: 31-37 “Because the Jewish leaders did not want the bodies left on the crosses during the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down. The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other. But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water. The man who saw it has given testimony, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe. These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: “Not one of his bones will be broken,” and, as another scripture says, “They will look on the one they have pierced.”
The fact that the Roman soldier did not break Jesus legs, the procedure for hastening death, indicates that Jesus had already died. The other two prisoners legs were broken. To breathe while hanging on a cross one had to push oneself up with one legs, otherwise one would asphyxiate. That is why the legs of the crucified were often broken; to prevent the crucified person from pushing himself up to breathe. Obviously Jesus, out of exhaustion, stopped breathing and died. Jesus was crucified, and rose again. Isaiah 53:11 “After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied.”
All of these events are part of what Jesus said would happen. God will soon prove His Holiness.
