The Hebrew word HAMAS is in the Bible at least 60 times.

Hamas in Hebrew means “violence and wrongdoing.”

We first see the Hebrew word Hamas used in Genesis chapter 6.

Genesis 6:11-13 (NIV)

11 Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence [HAMAS]. 12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. 13 So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence [HAMAS] because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.”

Jesus Reveals Hamas Is in the Bible.  We also see Hamas used by the prophet Joel.

Joel 3:19-21 (NIV)

19 But Egypt will be desolate, Edom a desert waste, because of violence [HAMAS] done to the people of Judah, in whose land they shed innocent blood.  20 Judah will be inhabited forever and Jerusalem through all generations.  21 Shall I leave their innocent blood unavenged? Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth.

Revelation 6:7-8 (NASB)

7  When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come!” 8  I looked, and behold, a pale green horse; and the one who sat on it had the name Death, and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, and famine, and plague, and by the wild animals of the earth.
