The Taliban Again Control Afghanistan–Who Are the Taliban?

Baal and Taliban conquer Afghanistan after U.S. troops withdraw. The word Taliban comes from tālib, or “student” in Arabic, as the group was started by Pakistani and Saudi Islamic religious school students in the mid-1990s. A Taliban is a student of the teachings of Baal, who calls himself “Allah” in the Qur’an. One third of the world has been deceived into thinking Allah (Baal) to be God, but this powerful spirit is not God, but greatly desires to be God.

Many Bible verses warn of this spirit trying to cause the entire world to worship him. This spirit also has a false prophet (Revelation 13). This false prophet is Mohammad.

This spirit is the “Man of Lawlessness” in 2 Thessalonians. The “beast from the sea” in Revelation 13. The “prince who is to come” in Daniel 9. The “woman in the basket” in Zechariah 5. The one spirit that causes humans to be “astonished when they see the beast, because it once was, now is not, and yet will come” in Revelation 17. The “powerful delusion” of 2 Thessalonians. Allah is a very powerful spirit–not a human.

Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

After the 9/11 attacks by Osama Bin Laden and al Qaeda, the Taliban were removed from power in Afghanistan by US-led forces in 2001, but the group has steadily regained strength and is seizing territory again.

As the U.S. completes its withdrawal by September 11, after two decades of war, the Taliban are overrunning Afghan military outposts, towns and villages and surrounding major cities, and will soon topple the Afghan government.

THE TALIBAN AND AL-QAEDA CONNECTION

Al-Qaeda and the Taliban have a similar understanding of a fundamentalist form of Islam known as Wahhabism. Wahhabism is largely funded around the world by the Saudi Government. Osama Bin Laden was a strict follower of Wahhabism.

When Osama Bin Laden attacked American on 9/11, he had three goals. He outlined these goals in a letter to America in November 2002.

Three Major Goals of Osama Bin Laden:

The first goal was conversion of the world to Islam

The second goal was to stop oppression of Muslims

The third goal was to stop supporting Israel

The first and foremost goal was to convert the world to Islam–the worship of the spirit called “Allah” in the Qur’an.

Osama Bin Laden described Islam this way:

“The religion of the Unification of God; of freedom from associating partners with Him, and rejection of this; of complete love of Him, the Exalted; of complete submission to His Laws; and of the discarding of all the opinions, orders, theories and religions which contradict with the religion He sent down to His Prophet Muhammad.”

The key phrase to understand is that Allah rejects any partner (“freedom from associating partners with Him”), meaning that Jesus Christ is not the Son of God. These are some of the “takes words away” warning In Revelation 22:19 which then remove from that person any share of the Tree of Life.

ONLY THE RETURN OF CHRIST DEFEATS THE BEAST

So, “what is the future” some may ask? Why was the United States, with the world’s best armed forces and $2 trillion dollars, unable to defeat the Taliban in one of the poorest countries in the world after 20 years of fighting? Baal will only be defeated by the return of Jesus Christ.

I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. Jesus gave us clear signs to look for at the time of his return. We know from Revelation that Jesus will return.

Jesus warns everyone the Qur’an is false, and Jesus gave this in prophecy. Islam says the Qur’an is the “Final Revelation.” This is not true. Centuries before Mohammad had his first revelation, Jesus warned a false Revelation text would follow the true Book of Revelation. This false Revelation text was the Qur’an. It showed up about 515 years after Revelation was written in 95 AD. Just as Jesus said, the Qur’an adds the words that bring the plagues of Revelation. Just as Jesus said, the Qur’an takes away the words of eternal life through Jesus only, the risen Son of God.
