THE SPIRITUAL ANTICHRIST

PART ONE–THE ANGER OF THE ANTICHRIST SPIRIT

Jesus is the only way to eternal life. The Bible reveals the Antichrist is an angry spirit stemming from the fallen angels’ envy. Humanity’s chance at redemption, unlike theirs, comes from Jesus’ sacrifice. Jesus reveals the false text of the Qur’an gives believers important clues to discern the true God from the false Antichrist spirit. The anger of the antichrist spirit is intense.

TEST EVERY SPIRIT

The Bible tells us the Antichrist is a spirit, not a man. The anger of the antichrist spirit can be seen today in the world. Listen only to the teachings of Jesus and not those that sell prophecy books.

1 John 4:1-3 (NIV)
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. Because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God. Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God. But every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

1 John 4:1-3 warns about testing the spirits to discern whether they are from God. This passage emphasizes the importance of discernment and testing the teachings and spirits claiming to be from God. It sets a criterion: any spirit that acknowledges Jesus Christ as having come in the flesh is from God, while any spirit that denies Jesus is not from God and is described as the spirit of the Antichrist.

The term “Antichrist” can be interpreted in different ways, but here it refers to a spirit that opposes or denies the truth of Jesus Christ. The passage warns against false teachings and false prophets who may lead people astray from the true message of Jesus. In essence, the advice given here encourages believers to focus on the teachings of Jesus Christ and to discern carefully the spiritual influences they encounter, avoiding those that do not align with the acknowledgment of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This aligns with the broader message of the New Testament to stay rooted in the truth of Christ and to be vigilant against deceptive teachings.

AT THE NAME OF JESUS EVERY SPIRIT MUST BOW

Jesus reveals we can identify a spirit that many think is God that has already come into the world. The anger of the antichrist spirit gave the world a false text about Jesus. In this text, this spirit cannot acknowledge the name of Jesus. Instead, he gives a new name to Jesus in the Qur’an, calling him “Isa.” The Apostle Paul, writing to the Philippians, explains why this Spirit is so angry. Then it would have to bow at the name of Jesus and therefore gives Jesus a new name so he does not have to bow.

Philippians 2:9-11 (NIV)
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place, and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord. To the glory of God the Father.

This passage underscores the supreme authority and exalted status of Jesus Christ, to whom every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that he is Lord. This aligns with the Biblical truth that Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of humanity.

There is a contrast between the exaltation of Jesus in the Bible compared to false texts such as the Qur’an that try to present him differently. The Christian truth, as presented in Philippians, emphasizes the centrality of Jesus’ name and his lordship over all creation, whereas other false beliefs and religions differ greatly in their understanding or treatment of Jesus’ identity and significance. Ultimately, Philippians 2:9-11 highlights the universal recognition of Jesus’ authority and lordship, which is foundational to Christian faith and worship. It’s important for believers to understand and uphold these teachings as they form the core of Christian doctrine about Jesus Christ.

ON THE CROSS JESUS MADE A PUBLIC SPECTACLE OF THE ANGRY SPIRIT

The second reason the Antichrist spirit is so angry is that Jesus, when triumphing over the cross, made a public spectacle of all of them.

Colossians 2:15
And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross is seen as the ultimate act of redemption and victory, where He not only atoned for sins but also defeated the spiritual forces of darkness. The imagery of making a public spectacle refers to the defeat and humiliation of these spiritual powers before all creation, demonstrating Jesus’ supreme authority and victory.

THE ANGRY SPIRIT WILL BE THROWN IN THE LAKE OF FIRE

The third reason the Antichrist spirit is so angry is because it has no path of redemption. Jesus, with his sacrifice on the cross, gives eternal life to those human souls that believe that the fallen spirits have no path for redemption, and this makes them very angry. Jesus reveals in Revelation chapter 19:20 what will happen to this Antichrist spirit and his false prophet Mohammad.

Revelation 19:20 (NIV)
But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

The Bible teaches, the Beast and the False Prophet represent the forces of evil and power that oppose God and lead people astray. The imagery of being thrown into the lake of burning sulfur signifies eternal damnation and the ultimate defeat of these evil forces.

The fallen angels (including Satan) are beyond redemption due to their rebellion against God. In contrast, humans are offered redemption through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, which provides a path to eternal life for those who believe.

Jesus is returning soon. The Book of Revelation is directly from Jesus Christ. It is the most important book in the Bible for the world today.

The truth is Jesus is the Son of God, died for our sins, and is the only path to the Father and eternal life.

Jesus is returning soon. Put your trust in Jesus Christ. His words are always true.

JESUS FULFILLED 351 OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECIES

The Old Testament, written hundreds of years before Jesus’ birth, contains at least 351 prophecies that Jesus fulfilled through His life, death and resurrection.  Mathematically speaking, the odds are staggering of anyone fulfilling a small amount of prophecy.  Fulfilling just 8 is impossible!

Jesus gives seven sure signs you are living in the last days.
