The False Prophet Looks Like a Lamb, But Speaks Like a Dragon
Why Do Churches Become Mosques?
Watch out for the teachings from the False Prophet.
Today we see Christian churches conducing joint Islamic services with Islamic readings, including readings from the Koran that deny Jesus is the Son of God. We see churches converted to Mosques. The Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Syracuse, New York recently sold their sanctuary building knowing full well it would become a Mosque. They said: “We wanted God to still be worshiped in this building.” Is God in a Mosque if it denies Jesus is the Son of God?
The Syracuse Mosque is named “The Mosque of Jesus, Son of Mary.” Islam denies Jesus is the Son of God, denies his crucifixion, and denies he was raised from the dead. Islam takes away the salvation from God. They say Jesus is the Son of Mary, but not the Son of God.
Jesus gave many warnings in the Book of Revelation about a coming false doctrine and spiritual war. One of the most important Bible warnings is given in Revelation 13:11.
Revelation 13:11 (NIV) Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon.
This prophecy means the False Prophet (the second beast) will try to be associated with the lamb and yet speaks words from Satan. Mohammad did this. Jesus is mentioned 37 times in the Koran, the Koran says Mohammad’s name will be found in the Bible, and the Koran says Jesus promised Mohammad would follow him as “the Spirit of Truth.”
Muslims consistently say Jesus promised Mohammad would follow him, and cite John 16:13 (“The Spirit of Truth”) as proof. That Jesus promised Mohammad is a common teaching in Islam. Therefore Revelation 13:11 warns us that the False Prophet will attempt to look like the lamb, be connected to, or be associated with the lamb. Of course, Jesus was talking about the Holy Spirit, not a person.
When was the Crucifixion of Jesus and First Easter?
History, Astronomy and the Prophet Daniel Provide the Date
The Crucifixion of Jesus Was Friday April 3, 33 AD
Jesus waited to reveal that he was God until his time had come. While this had many purposes, one was to fulfill all Bible prophecy, including the date of his death. The crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and his resurrection are the two most important events in human history. Why is this so? Because of Jesus’ death, every person has the opportunity for eternal salvation. Without it no one can be saved. The sin of mankind would require an atoning sacrifice. No human could atone for mankind’s sin. Only God himself could do this.
But when was this great event? Of course, it is not necessary to know the precise date—all a believer must know is that it truly happened. Yet the Bible gives us this date when we examine the Daniels’ prophecy.
There are many historical, astronomical, and calendar events connected with the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. When combined only one crucifixion date perfectly fits all the criteria. When we look at: 1) the ministry of John the Baptist, 2) the reign of Pontius Pilate, 3) the reign of Herod Antipas, 4) the writings of the historian Josephus, 5) the conversion of Paul, 6) the astronomical calculations of Isaac Newton, 7) the Jewish calendar, 8) the Roman calendar, 9) the Passover requirements, 10) the Jerusalem lunar eclipse and 11) the 69 sevens prophecy of Daniel, only the date of April 3, 33 AD perfectly fits all criteria to give the crucifixion date.
Jesus said prepare for His return, you do not know the hour. It will surprise you. But Jesus also did say we would recognize the season. One sure sign of the season is the outpouring of the Spirit into the Jewish remnant.
Shortly before his crucifixion and resurrection, Jesus warned the Pharisees and other Jewish leaders in Jerusalem that they would not see him again until the phrase “Baruch haba B’Shem Adonai” is said by Jews who recognize finally Jesus is the Messiah. Today many Jews say this phrase!
Matthew 23:37-39 (NIV) “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hengathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. Look, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me againuntil you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
Christians need to share the truth of the Gospel with Muslims. Many Christians are surprised when Muslims say Mohammad is in the Bible; thus, what Mohammad taught about Jesus must be true. Christians need to be aware of some of the texts Muslims cite in support of the claim that Mohammad is prophesied in the Bible. Muslims claim “the prophet” of Deuteronomy 18 is Mohammad. The idea that Jesus promised Mohammad is a near universal teaching in Islam.
When Jesus gave his farewell discourse in the Gospel of John (chapters 14 and 16), Jesus spoke about the coming of the “Spirit of Truth”, the “Paraclete” or “Advocate” (in Greek, “parakletos”). For many centuries, Muslim interpreters have consistently seen Mohammad as this final prophet of the “Spirit of Truth,” promised by Jesus in the Gospel of John, and based on two passages (7:157 and 61:6) from the Koran.
Muslim scholars, Jehovah Witnesses and some liberal theologians try to make the case that Jesus was “begotten.” By this they mean Jesus was created and not eternal. If Jesus was created, he cannot be God. If Jesus is eternal, Jesus is God. Since Islam teaches Jesus is not God, the Koran’s truthfulness depends on Jesus being created, while the Bible says Jesus is eternal. Which book is correct? Both cannot be correct.
To know the truth, we must search the Bible, and not rely on man’s theories or arguments. Only the Scripture matters. The point of argument comes from the King James (KJV) and New American Standard Bible (NASB) translation of John 3:16-17:
John 3:16-17 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
This is a story about two supernatural beings–Jesus or the Islamic Allah. You will have to decide which is the most powerful. You must decide which one to worship. You must decide which one can give you the only path to heaven. Which story is completely true? They both cannot be true.
Many people have been told about the Humble Man from Galilee, who lived some 2,000 years ago. Some wonder who he was. Was he really God, or just a prophet? The Islamic God of the Universe insists over and over again the Humble Man from Galilee was just a prophet–and nothing more. And if you say the Humble Man from Galilee was more than a prophet, the Islamic God of the Universe will send you to hell!
You see, this Humble Man from Galilee has greatly upset the Islamic God of the Universe–more than a billion and a half souls in the world today know this Islamic God simply as “Allah.” Yet the Islamic God of the Universe complains and worries about the Humble Man from Galilee–so much so that he even writes certain slogans over and over again on his Islamic shrines. What is it about the Humble Man from Galilee that so worries Allah? After all, the Islamic Koran says the Humble Man from Galilee has been dead for nearly 2,000 years. Yet the Bible says he lives today.
Again we have witnessed another senseless terrorist attack in New York City. Eight people were killed, and 11 seriously injured and hospitalized by a Muslim man from Uzbekistan driving a rented truck over bicycle riders and people walking. When he got out of the truck he yelled “Allah Akbar”–meaning “God (only the unitary Islamic God of the Koran) is Great.”
To understand the spiritual war going on today, we must first realize we are living in the last days.
These are the times of desperate demonic apostasy (1 Timothy 4:1, “But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons”, and 2 Peter 2:1, “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.”)
In 2017 Satan knows his time is very short.
While many in the West think Islam means “Terrorism”, Islam really first and foremost stands for “Tawheed.” Tawheed is about the desperate fight for the oneness of Allah. Allah has no partners and no Son. Allah has no children. We see this throughout the Koran.
The extreme fear in the Koran revelation giver (Satan)–desperate to be worshipped, desperate to make Jesus into something other than God (Tawheed), desperate to deny the crucifixion, desperate that Jesus not be the risen Messiah. The Koran is a document of desperation. But it deceives 1/3 of the world!
Thousands of paramilitary forces from Iran’s powerful Islamic Revolutionary Guards held war games simulating the capture of the Temple Mount from Israeli control, the Iranian Tasnim media reported.
The reports said the Islamic forces stormed and liberated a replica of the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque. They said that 120 brigades of Basij, the paramilitary unit of the Guards, occupied hypothetical enemy positions during Friday’s exercise in the Islamic holy city of Qom in central Iran.
The symbolic operations were backed up by Guards helicopters, drones and Tucano planes that bombed hypothetical Israeli positions before ground troops captured the replica of the mosque set up at the top of a mountain. Continue reading →
Iran (Persia) and Turkey Hold the Islamic Invasion Road to Israel
American military intervention in the countries around Israel has set the stage for Ezekiel’s war. The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (“ISIS”) took over in much of Iraq and Syria after the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq and subsequent 2011 U.S. departure. For most of the United States’ allies in the Middle East, the war against ISIS never was the primary concern. These reluctant nations largely humored Washington, gave speeches and weakly joined its international coalition — and looked the other way.
When the United States invaded Iraq 14 years ago to topple Saddam Hussein, it saw Iraq as a potential cornerstone of a democratic and Western-facing Middle East, and vast amounts of blood and treasure — about 4,500 American lives lost, more than $2 trillion spent — were poured From Day 1, Iran saw something else: a chance to make a client state of Iraq and create an invasion road to Israel. Turkey saw the same thing.
What America has never understood is the real issue is the war coming after the war against the Islamic State.
To many Iraqis, the destruction of Mosul’s iconic al-Hadba minaret this month symbolized the defeat in Iraq of ISIS. It was under this minaret, in al-Nuri Mosque, that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi had declared his “caliphate” — and now it has been destroyed by the jihadi organization in the face of the Iraqi security forces’ advance. Yet the shape of this defeat, and the likely trajectory of a “post-Islamic State” Iraq, is now clear.
Should not everyone cheer the defeat of ISIS? The real winners are Turkey (“Beth Togarmah”) and Iran (“Persia”). Each of these two countries now has a land route into Israel, something that has not existed since the Persian Empire and the Ottoman Empire.
What Does the Referendum in Turkey Have to Do with Ezekiel’s War?
It is no coincidence that on Easter Sunday April 16, 2017, Turks will head to the ballot box in a major referendum on replacing the current parliamentary system with an executive presidency. They are creating Gog. Turks are voting to end democracy and put in place an Islamic dictator. When in history has a democracy ever voted to end itself? But it is part of God’s plan toward Ezekiel’s war which will be led by Gog. The walking pace has become a running pace now. When the Turks pass this referendum, Erdogan will have as much absolute power as Adolph Hitler held in the time period just before World War II started.
Actions of the United States facilitated the rise of Gog. In recent years United States removed secular dictators in Islamic countries under the “War or Terror” strategy. There was no plan on what to do next. The strongmen were quickly replaced with Islamic Chaos. We removed Saddam Hussein from Iraq, Muammar Gaddafi from Libya, and Hosni Mubarak from Egypt. Just two weeks ago U.S. Secretary of State Tillerson said the fate of Syrian president Bashar Hafez al-Assad “was up to the Syrian people.” Now this week the Trump administration announced removing Assad is the “top priority.”
Out of this Islamic Chaos will come a strongman that can unite all the Islamic factions–this is Gog. Ezekiel’s war will also move faster towards reality when America moves it embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.
